So every season, Eskiador takes part in events where the team can test skis in real conditions, and carefully select the equipment available in store, for sale or for hire. This week, we were in Courchevel for the Ski Force Pro 2026.
Ski Force Courchevel: an unmissable event for winter sports pros
Throughout the winter season, ski resorts host events that enable brands to present products for the coming season. Some are aimed exclusively at ski professionals, and others are also open to the general public.
The « Ski Force » is an exclusively B2B event, organized by Union Sport & Cycle. The aim is to offer sports stores the opportunity to preview equipment, in order to prepare for the following season. To get a better idea of the event, feel free to check out the Ski Force 2025 summary video.
This Monday, January 19, part of the Sport 2000 Eskiador team made the trip to Courchevel to talk to suppliers, find out what’s new, try out various ski models on the ski area, and more.
The biggest names in skiing were represented, giving us the opportunity to test skis and boots from leading brands such as Atomic, Salomon, Elan, Head, Blizzard, Racoon, Rossignol, Dynastar and Scott. It now remains to determine which precise models will grace the shelves of our Val Thorens store for the 2026-2027 season, with the aim of satisfying you to the best of our ability!
Testing and field experience: prerequisites for greater customer satisfaction
Although this type of test day is not open directly to you, skiers, it does enable us to improve your experience in store and on the slopes. Indeed, at Eskiador, we believe that experience, a passion for skiing and in-depth knowledge of our products are essential for proposing the right offer and advising you.
And yet, during these events, we have the opportunity to have privileged discussions with the brands and to test next season’s skis in real conditions: behavior on snow, handling, grip, tolerance or even sensations according to levels and practices. There’s no substitute for feeling in the field to understand the strengths and limitations of each model.
Thanks to these tests, we rigorously select the new products that will enter our stores, taking into account technological developments, but above all their real interest for skiers. This enables us to fine-tune our offer and propose equipment suited to every profile, from the leisure skier to the most committed.
