A few more days to enjoy the ski slopes in Val Thorens

Even though temperatures have warmed up considerably over the past few days and the sun is shining, there is still plenty of snow on the Val Thorens ski area. Make the most of it to end the season in style by booking your equipment at Sport 2000 Eskiador, at the foot of the slopes! We welcome you until 3 May inclusive to equip you for winter sports.

Val Thorens, among the last resorts open this season

While most ski resorts closed their slopes in March or April, Val Thorens is going into extra time. As every year, the highest resort in Europe welcomes skiers until early May. The Val Thorens Orelle ski area remains open until 3 May, and most of the slopes are still accessible, as well as the walking trails. If you want to ski in the sun at more than 2,000 metres above sea level, this is your last chance to enjoy it this 2025-2026 season!

La Grande Dernière, the closing event not to be missed

On Saturday 2 May, Val Thorens will vibrate to the rhythm of “La Grande Dernière”, which closes the season. The ideal opportunity to combine skiing and festivities, with plenty of free entertainment, the Big Der’ race, the Waterslide, a big raffle, and more. It is a real moment of conviviality to share and a chance to race down the slopes one last time before putting away your skis. All the information can be found on the Tourist Office website. And even if you are not available for this event, you still have a whole week to come and ski in Val Thorens!

Ski rental: rent from Eskiador until the last day the ski area is open
