Ski Force event in Courchevel: testing & discovering brand new skis
In the world of skiing, nothing is left to chance: testing equipment is essential to offer you a high-quality range that meets the demands of a wide variety of skier profiles. Each season, Eskiador therefore takes part in events where the team can test skis in real conditions, enabling us to carefully select the equipment available in-store, for both sale and rental. This week, we were in Courchevel for Ski Force Pro 2026.
Ski Force Courchevel: a must-attend event for winter sports professionnals
Throughout the winter season, ski resorts host events where brands present the products of the coming season. Some are aimed exclusively at ski professionals, while others are also open to all skiers.
The "Ski Force" is a strictly B2B event, organised but Union Sport & Cycle. Its objective is to give sports retailers the opportunity to test equipment in preview, in order to prepare for the following season. To get a clearer idea of the event, feel free to watch the Ski Force 2025 recap video.
On Monday 19th January, part of the Sport 2000 Eskiador team went to Courchevel to talk with suppliers, discover new products, and test various ski models on the ski area, among other things. The biggest names in skiing were represented, allowing us to test skis and boots from leading brands such as Atomic, Salomon, Elan, Head, Blizzard, Racoon, Rossignol, Dynastar and Scott.
Now it’s time to decide which specific models will be featured in our Val Thorens ski shop for the 2026–2027 season, with one clear objective: to satisfy you as much as possible!
On-snow testing and proven expertise at your service
Although this type of test day is not directly open to you, the skiers, it plays a very concrete role in improving your in-store and on-slope experience. Indeed, at Eskiador, we believe that experience, the passion for skiing and in-depth product knowledge are essential to offer a relevant range and provide sound advice.
During these events, we have the opportunity to engage in in-depth discussions with brands and to test next season’s skis in real conditions: manoeuvrability, edge grip, fluidity, and overall feel depending on skill level and skiing style. Nothing replaces on-snow feedback to truly understand the strengths and limits of each model.
Thanks to these tests, we carefully select the new products that will arrive in-store, taking into account technological developments, but above all their real value for skiers. This allows us to refine our range and offer equipment suited to every profile, from recreational skiers to the most experienced ones.
