Get your ski clothes ready, Val Thorens is about to welcome you!

In order to ski as soon as possible for this new 2023/24 season, Val Thorens is THE ski resort where you should book your holidays. The first weekend of the winter sports season will take place on 25^th and 26^th November, long before many other Alpine ski resorts.
Just look at the webcams set on the ski area: you will easily see that the snow is covering the slopes, and you will be able to enjoy it during this weekend, until early May (weather permitting).

Enjoy the festivity during the first skiing weekend in Val Thorens

Durant “La Grande Première”, many winter sports and entertainments are in the spotlight. Come and ski on several areas in Val Tho and Les 3 Vallées, learn about new winter sports with guides, discover the new products of the season on the village square and enjoy many activities for children and adults! Val Thorens will celebrate the winter coming as it should be and make skiers and snowboarders happy.  

After this weekend, the huge ski area of Les 3 Vallées gradually opens: the skis areas of Val Thorens-Orelle and Courchevel-Méribel opens their slopes from 2nd December and you will be able to ski on the whole ski area from 9th December. Take this opportunity to ski before the beginning of the school holidays, but also to get attractive prices on your ski pass.

As each year, we have selected the best equipment from the top ski brands when it comes to Alpine skis, snowboards, skis for kids, ski boots, mini skis, freestyle skis or even free ride skis. It's up to you to choose the equipment that is right for you, with just a few clicks on our website. Then, you will just need to come and pick it in our shop in Val Thorens.
We are open from 9:00 am, at the same time as many ski lifts of the resort, so you can reach the slopes right after you have picked your booking.
