50th anniversary, Christmas and New Year : that's a cause for celebration!
If there is a period you should not miss during winter sports season in Val Thorens, or anywhere else in the mountains, it's Christmas and New Year's celebrations. During this season, there will be even more fun animations, on the occasion of Val Thorens' 50th anniversary. If you're still hesitating about coming, you might change your mind and definitely want to come and spend a few days in our nice resort.
Val Thorens' 50 years on 21st December 2022
It's been half a century since Val Thorens has welcomed skiers from all around the world, and the resort thinks on a grand scale to celebrate this event. On Wednesday 21st December, you will attend a sound and light show, with many other activities : DJ Set, strolls in the resort, etc. It will be a festive evening and night, just before Christmas celebration. Until this end of the year, you will be able to attend these anniversary activities for free.
Christmas activities in Val Thorens
From Monday 19th December, Val Thorens will be the perfect place to immerse yourself in the magic of Christmas. There will be workshops for kids, some concerts, torchlight descents, street performances, a Christmas village, etc. It's the perfect time to enjoy holidays as a family or with your friends, or even to spend a romantic moment as a couple. And of course, on the 24th and 25th, you will be lucky enough to see Father Christmas, who will make a break during his tour to spend a few hours in Val Thorens.
New Year's Eve celebration to welcome 2023
Spending New Year's Eve in a ski resort is like a dream! Especially as you spend your holidays in Val Thorens! In addition to Christmas activities that will take place until the end of the month, there will be many other ways to enjoy: hot drinks stands, introduction to Snooc, Espace Game, performances made for children, etc. And on 31st December, it will be the high point, with concerts, a 50th anniversary mapping show, and of course, a beautiful firework at 00:00. Whatever your age, you will be blown away and you will start year 2023 in a joyful atmosphere.
Christmas in Val Thorens : it's not too late to book your holidays
Christmas and the end of the year are just around the corner, but it's still time to book your accommodation and your ski equipment in order to enjoy some holidays In Val Thorens and on Les 3 Vallées ski area! Thanks to online rental, you can plan everything so you just have to pick up your equipment when arriving in the resort.
