Val Thorens, new releases 2018/2019
With its few 1 853 911 days-skiers sold on the 2017/2018 season, its 150 kilometers of tracks and its digital success unsurpassed in France (more than 500 000 fans on Facebook), Val Thorens is at the forefront. Proof of this is with the series of innovations coming to enrich the station for the happiness of its visitors and especially of lovers of the glider. Discover with us these novelties!
The station is equipped with two new slopes
4 kilometers of descent to enlarge the Domaine de Val Thorens. With the opening of a blue runway, the domaine offers skiers of all levels the unique experience of skiing from the top of the three valleys, a zone previously reserved for good skiers. Ideal for a family day. For the most daredevil, you will have to go to the area of Boismint to discover the black track « Armoise ».
Four new ski touring itineraries: mountain skiers are not left out
The ski park is enriched by four courses. Ranging from 2 to 6 kilometers away, they will satisfy beginners and confirmed. This practice dates back to the years 1930 in France when the separation between ski touring and alpine skiing. It is coming back to the front of the stage today.
The station also equips itself with a new double zip line and renews the equipment of snow cannons.
