Highlights

Located in the heart of the 3 Valleys and perched at 2,300 metres above sea level, Val Thorens is the highest resort in Europe. Renowned for the quality of its snow and the diversity of its ski area, it offers an exceptional playground for all skiers. At Eskiador, we ski here almost every day… so naturally we know which runs are really worth the detour.

1. The Combe de Caron run – The high-mountain experience

Accessible from the legendary summit of Cime Caron, this red run is one of the most impressive in Val Thorens. 360° panorama, high-mountain atmosphere, often excellent snow… it is an unmissable descent. Our tip: go on a clear day to enjoy the exceptional view of the Alps.

2. The Christine run – For strong skiers

Rated black, Christine is a technical, committed run, but incredibly beautiful. Located in a wild environment, it gives a real “nature” skiing feeling. Our tip: best in good snow conditions, and preferably early in the day.

3. The Plein Sud run – Accessible pleasure

A wide, sunny red run, Plein Sud is perfect for linking turns smoothly. Ideal for intermediate skiers who want to enjoy themselves without excessive difficulty. Our tip: perfect in late morning, when the snow starts to change slightly.
