Every season, Eskiador therefore takes part in events where the team can test skis in real conditions and carefully choose the equipment available in store, for sale and for rental. This week, we were in Courchevel for Ski Force Pro 2026.
Ski Force Courchevel: a must-attend event for winter sports professionals
Throughout the winter season, ski resorts host events that allow brands to showcase the products of the coming season. Some are exclusively for professionals, while others are also open to the general public. “Ski Force” is a B2B-only event, organised by Union Sport & Cycle. Its purpose is to give sports shops the chance to test equipment ahead of release in order to prepare for the following season. On Monday 19 January, part of the Sport 2000 Eskiador team travelled to Courchevel to talk with suppliers, discover the new products and try out various ski models on the ski area. The biggest names in skiing were represented, which allowed us to test skis and boots from leading brands such as Atomic, Salomon, Elan, Head, Blizzard, Racoon, Rossignol, Dynastar and Scott. Now we need to decide which exact models will fill the shelves of our Val Thorens shop for the 2026-2027 season, with the aim of satisfying you as best we can!
Tests and field experience: prerequisites for serving you better
Although this kind of test day is not open directly to you, the skiers, it allows us to concretely improve your experience in store and on the slopes. At these events, we get the chance to have one-to-one discussions with the brands and to test in real conditions next season’s skis: behaviour on snow, manoeuvrability, grip, forgiveness and feel depending on levels and styles of skiing. Thanks to these tests, we select new products with rigour for the shop, taking into account technological developments but above all their real value for skiers. This lets us refine our range and offer equipment suited to every profile, from the leisure skier to the most committed.
